- What is Jadawel?
- Jadawel is a hangout discovery app built for people living in the UAE. Browse cafes, restaurants, beaches, parks, malls and more, all curated and rated by the community.
- Is Jadawel free?
- Yes, completely free. No subscriptions, no hidden charges.
- How do I save a place?
- Tap the heart icon on any place to save it to your favorites. You need to be signed in to save places.
- What is JRate?
- JRate is our community rating system, scored from 1 to 10. It aggregates ratings submitted directly by Jadawel users and stays separate from Google's rating.
- Do I need to sign in?
- No. You can browse every place without an account. You only need to sign in if you want to save favorites or submit a rating.
- How do I switch between emirates?
- Tap the location button at the top of the home screen to pick a different emirate.
- A place I know is missing. Can I suggest it?
- Yes. Email us at contact@jadawel.ae with the name and location and we will look into adding it.
- Does the app track my location?
- The mobile app does not request your precise location. The website asks only when you select “Use my location,” then uses it in the page to sort places by distance. We do not store the coordinates or build a location history.
